An initiative that uses the transformative power of football and arts to keep children engaged in school and empower them to break away from cycles of child labor and early child marriage.
The children of Majurwa are very passionate about the game of football. A chance to train professionally in football motivates children to enter classrooms and continue going to school regularly.
The rule is simple: they have to go to school 80% of the month if they wish to play football!

Football skills development and education from coaches for around 100 kids (boys 70:30 girls). Each child plays with us 2-3 times a week before or after school hours.
Annual football exposure program where a team of selected players travel to another city for a friendly football match and engage in interactive activities with a partner school. Travel to Play 2026 was conducted in Kathmandu with the Connect Club of Lincoln School.
A closed-camp in the project village where a professional athlete is invited to conduct a week-long workshop to the participating kids and share their success stories with the purpose of motivating them to continue their education and pursue a career in sports or any other fields.
A week-long football training and art camp followed by an intra/inter-school tournament and art exhibition to celebrate yearlong training, artistic creativity, friendship, and bonding between the children. We celebrated our second EduKick Festival with an interschool tournament and an art workshop in April 2026. Ten schools participated, and our school won the second place trophy. Around 200 children participated in the art workshop.

Once football and arts work its wonders in bringing the children into the classroom, the next challenge of educating them begins.
To create a better learning environment in the school, we work with the school teachers to replace the traditional book-centered pedagogy using arts and project-based lessons.
A compulsory after-school program for students of Grades 1-4 where they learn to read and write using various mediums of arts like coloring, crafts, painting, music and dance.
A program for students of Grades 5-8 with the motive of making learning easier, more engaging and fun for them by teaching various subject matters using project and community-based activities.
Teachers will be encouraged to better communicate with and guide children to help them reach their best results in the classroom through pedagogy workshops.
This program engages students of all grades in learning the basic computer skills starting right from typing in Grade 5 and going up to programming languages as their grades progress.
Our project school currently offers education up to the basic level (Grade 8).
To encourage students to continue their education beyond Grade 8, the Learning Center provides free computer lessons, language classes and life skills education to students who plan to pursue Grades 9–12 at schools outside the community. This will help the students prepare for future academic success, meaningful careers, and lifelong learning.

Practical and life skills like language, communication, waste and business management help develop confidence, and explore new opportunities.
Starting with typing, Microsoft Office, and essential computer skills, students progress to coding, graphic design, and other advanced topics based on their interests, each learning at their own pace.
Football brings children in. School Support keeps them learning. The Learning Center carries them forward — each program reinforcing the next.

Children already love the game. We make football training conditional on 80%+ monthly school attendance, turning a beloved activity into a reason to stay enrolled.

Arts-based literacy, activity-based learning, teacher training, and computer literacy turn the classroom into a place children actually want to be — not just somewhere they show up.

Since the village school stops at Grade 8, free computer, language, and life skills classes help graduates continue their education and build skills for life beyond the village.
